Reference is made to the article published in The Malaysian Reserve newspaper on page 1, Wednesday, 3 April 2013 (“Article”).
The Board of Directors wishes to clarify that ManagePay Services Sdn Bhd (formerly known as Multimedia Prospect Sdn Bhd) (“MPSB”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company, had on 25 January 2013 received a letter of notification from Bank Negara Malaysia notifying MPSB that it has complied with the requirements of section 5(3) of the Payment Systems Act 2003 to operate its payment systems.
The said letter of notification was a notification of compliance and is neither an approval nor endorsement of the system as published otherwise in the Article.
